Music Demo Environment: Groovy

In this showcase you can get a taste of how I make the music adaptive, with a clear development during gameplay and subtle variations to keep it fresh.

It looks like a game, but you have to use your own imagination. You walk through different spaces that stand for different events in your game.

Hear how it sounds when you have to fight, how panic strikes you or how you can heal your damage. All by walking from Battle Ground to the Panic Zone or Recovery Park.

Global Game Jam 2020: NecroMADNESS

During the 2020 Global Game Jam it took me 2 hours to make this track for Milan Lefferts' mobile Goth/ Horror/ Slayer game. Play the game here!

GGJ19: Soft Dock

The designers asked me to convey through music the feeling of
loneliness in space travel, the hope during approach and the disappointment at failing. Made adaptive with middleware by FMOD. In the end the game turned out to have a higher tempo than initially expected. Of course alterations should be made, but alas... it's a gamejam...

GGJ19: Toy Soldier Royale

I was asked to make a 80's 8-bit, non adaptive loop to emphasize the battle and the excitement.
Of course I gave it my own twist, with elements of my stringquartets, powerfunk, heavy-metal influences and hiphop.

GGJ19: Long Forgotten Home

Unfortunately the programmer didn't succeed to integrate the music within the 48 game jam time frame. But you can hear the intro full of homesickness I made for him:

GGJ19: Far From Home

This game is set in space as well. Some musical material from SoftDock could be re-used. The score is less versatile, but gives clear feedback on how well (or bad) you perform. Play it here!
